PURPOSE

- Isolating USB/PLI interface converter is designed to convert the physical levels of the logical signals of the USB interface into the physical levels of the logical signals of the PLI (Power Line Interface).
The converter is used to organize the exchange of digital information between a PC with a USB user interface and industrial controllers that communicate with the converter via the PLI interface via a 2-wire line combined with “+”, “-” power buses. - The USB/PLI isolation converter is not a measuring instrument.
- Operation of the USB/PLI insulating interface converter is allowed at ambient temperature from minus 40 to plus 60 °С.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
1. The USB/PLI isolation converter maintains stable operation for baud rate of 19200 bps.
The USB interface line supports USB 2.0.
2. The delay of signal transmission by the inserted transducer is no more than 150 ms.
3. The converter is powered from the USB interface.
Converter power parameters:
– own consumption current – no more than 40 mA.
Power Line interface line:
– output voltage – from 11 to 13 V;
– output current limitation – up to 50 mA.
4. The degree of protection of the body of the Converter interfaces USB / PLI isolating from the environment – IP40 in accordance with GOST 14254.
5. Overall dimensions of the converter do not exceed 104 x 54 x 31 mm.
6. The mass of the Converter does not exceed – 0.1 kg.
7. The service life of the USB/PLI isolation converter is 12 years.
INSTALLATION & SERVICE
1. The USB/PLI interface converter is made in a plastic case with brackets for mounting on a DIN rail. In this case, the converter must be protected from direct exposure to atmospheric precipitation.
2. The company provides a 24-month warranty service for the USB/PLI Isolating Interface Converter and service maintenance throughout the entire service life.
