PURPOSE

- The USB/BELL202 interface converter is designed to operate as a modem by frequency-shift keying in the BELL202 standard via a dedicated two-wire line in half-duplex mode, as well as to generate a supply voltage for peripheral devices.
The USB/BELL202 interface converter is used to organize the exchange of digital information between a computer and digital devices that support the open digital protocol “HART Field Communications Protocol” (hereinafter referred to as the HART protocol), such as Calculators, Converters-Correctors of FLOWCORE, FLOWTECH-TM measuring complexes or digital measuring transducers (sensors) of pressure, temperature and density. - The USB/BELL202 converter is not a measuring instrument.
- Operation of the USB/BELL202 interface converter is allowed at ambient temperature from minus 40 to plus 60 °C.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
1. The USB/BELL202 interface converter supports stable operation at 1200bps.
2. The USB/BELL202 Interface Converter line supports USB 2.0.
3. The delay of signal transmission by the introduced transducer is no more than 2 μs.
Frequencies for encoding information (in the BELL202 standard) entering the converter:
– logical “0” – (2200+2.5) Hz;
– logical “1” – (1200+2.5) Hz.
3. The USB/BELL202 interface converter is powered from the USB interface, the intrinsic current consumption of which is not more than 100 mA.
4. Overall dimensions of the USB/BELL202 interface converter do not exceed 104 x 54 x 31 mm.
5. Weight of the USB/BELL202 interface converter does not exceed 0.1 kg.

INSTALLATION & SERVICE
1. The USB/BELL202 interface converter is made in a plastic case with brackets for mounting on a DIN rail. In this case, the converter must be protected from direct exposure to atmospheric precipitation.
2. The company provides warranty service for the USB/BELL202 Interface Converter for 24 months and service during the entire service life.
