PURPOSE

( full specifications are in the manual for the device )

1. Electromagnetic dosing pumps ND2 are designed to supply liquids to the pipeline (such as methanol, ethyl mercoptan etc.) as an actuator where the regulation of the flow of fluid passing through the pipeline is carried out, including in gas odorization complexes.
2. Pumps ND2 are two-way solenoid devices for operation in hazardous areas.

TECHNICAL DATA

1. Electromagnetic dosing pump ND2 provides the supply of the set value of the dose of the working fluid (methyl mercoptan, ethyl mercoptan, etc.) into the pipeline in one cycle, within the limits:
   • from 0.02 to 2.0 g – at the maximum pressure drop of the working fluid on the pump in the closed state 0 to 0.03 MPa (0 to 0.3 kg/cm2);
   • from 1.0 to 2.5 g – at the maximum pressure drop of the working fluid on the pump in the closed state from 1.2 to 7.5 MPa (12 kg/cm2 to 75 kg/cm2).
2. The maximum period of supply by the Pump ND2 of the working fluid to the pipeline (dosage), taking into account the response time pump after the control signal is given does not exceed 2 s.
3. The overall dimensions of the ND2 electromagnetic Pumps depend on the version from 125 x 95 x 210 to 250 x 250 x 360 mm.
4. Weight of ND2 pumps (depending on version) – from 4 kg to 17 kg.
5. The service life of ND2 pumps is at least 10 years.

INSTALLATION & SERVICE

1. The ND2 pump has an explosion protection level of marking 1ExmbIIT4 X DSTU 7113:2009, DSTU IEC 60079-18:2009. The pump can be installed in hazardous areas in accordance with the requirements of section 4 “Rules for electrical installations. Electrical equipment of special installations. DNAOP 0.00-1.32-01” and other regulatory documents regulating the use electrical equipment in hazardous areas, where, according to GOST 12.1.011, explosive mixtures can be formed categories IIA, IIB, IIC groups T1, T2, T3 and T4.
2. Warranty period of operation of ND2 pumps is 24 months from the date of putting the pump into operation.

pumps  ND2
1. Operating principle
Diaphragm pump with hydraulic electric drive. Requires periodic membrane and fluid replacement (at least once a year)
Piston pump with direct electric drive. Periodic maintenance of the pump includes cleaning of mechanical inclusions in the odorant
2. Odorant Filtration
Additional odorant filter required
The odorant filter is included in the product
3. Degassing
When gas enters the pump inlet, it accumulates in the membrane chamber, as a result of which the pump does not pump liquid (the so-called “airing” occurs)
The pump is able to pump liquid with a small amount of gas (depending on the differential on the pump) while the gas is pumped to the pump outlet
4. Odorant Protection
When the membrane is depressurized, the odorant enters the hydraulic drive and hydraulic fluid to the odorization circuit
The odorant is inside a sleeve with a wall thickness of 1.5 mm. The electric coil is made in in the form of a separate product in its own housing, which prevents even during mechanical destruction of the sleeve
5. Structural
    characteristics
The pump consists of three separate modules placed in series, which leads to an increase in size and weight
The pump is arranged inside the coil, and its dimensions are actually the dimensions of the product
6. Dose adjustment
Mechanical adjustment with additional device
Electrical adjustment of pulse duration. The pump does not require mechanical adjustment
