PURPOSE

1. Converter Bell 202/Current 4…20 mA is designed to convert the input coded (digital) signal according to the Bell 202 standard into a DC analog output signal with limits from 4 to 20 mA and is designed for application in systems of automatic control, regulation and control of technological processes in various industries industry, as well as for use as part of measuring systems and complexes.
2. The converter is intended for operation outside hazardous areas.
3. The Bell 202/Current 4…20 mA transducer is not a measuring instrument.
4. Operation of the Converter Bell 202/Current 4…20 mA is allowed at ambient temperature from minus 30 to plus 60 °С.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
1. The Bell 202/Current 4…20 mA converter has a linear nominal static conversion characteristic code signal into an analog electrical unified DC output signal with limits from 4 to 20 mA.
Transformer power supply parameters from an external DC source:
– rated supply voltage – 12 V (allowable values from 15 to 30V)
– the value of the intrinsic noise voltage in the frequency range from 500 Hz to 10 kHz – no more than 1.2 mV (effective value).
2. Limits of the basic permissible relative error of the Converter Bell 202/Current 4…20mA at ambient temperature 20 ± 5 °С are ± 0.05%.
3. Overall dimensions of the Bell 202 Converter/Current 4…20 mA does not exceed (depending on the embodiment) – 100 x 117 x 22 mm or 89 x 70 x 66 mm

INSTALLATION & SERVICE
1. Converter Bell 202/Current 4…20 mA is made in a plastic case with brackets for mounting on a DIN rail. In this case, the converter must be protected from the direct action of precipitation.
2. The converter is designed for operation outside hazardous areas in rooms at ambient temperature from minus 40 to plus 60 °С.
3. The company provides warranty service for the Converter Bell 202/Current 4…20 mA within 24 months and service service throughout the entire service life.
